5 B2B Innovator Award Winners Who Bring Their A-Game

SUBTITLE GOES HERE

TLDR:

DemandGenReport recognized many business leaders who strive to bring out the best in their marketing efforts, and more importantly, also bringing out the best in their clients. Five B2B Innovator Award winners were chosen to be recognized by DemandGenReport. The winners represent such companies as HP, Televerde, EnterpriseDB, Hubb, and JDA Software.

Working in marketing, especially B2B marketing, is challenging work. It lacks the solid strength behind the numbers—that’s usually the territory of the sales department. But when marketers knock it out of the park, they should be praised from the mountaintops for that very reason. DemandGenReport recognized five marketers who won the 2018 B2B Marketing Innovator Award.

The B2B Innovator Award winners for 2018—2019’s selection of nominees is ongoing—won the award stretching the limits in a variety of B2B areas. A slice of the recipients of this award reveals that ABM is still at the forefront of B2B marketing.

The first winner, Scott Cannon of HP, was chosen because he effectively engaged inactive accounts to turn them over into millions of dollars of revenue. He contends that ABM is a lot easier when it’s spoken of than actually doing it.

The second winner, Michelle Cirocco of Televerde, was chosen because of how she was able to change the lives of incarcerated women through work. In fact, many ABM initiatives were supported with the help of these women. Cirroco wants to do her part in helping to reduce the recidivism rate.

The third is James McNamee of EnterpriseDB, who retooled the company’s ABM program to the tune of three million dollars. According to Mcnamee, the key is not to use tools all of the time and focus instead on content and messaging.

Fourth is Raime Merriman of Hubb, who fosters an unconventional approach to leadership. No approval is needed for employees to try new things. As a result, revenue grew by an impressive 121%. Merriman tells employees the problem and lets them figure out the solution.

Amanda Dyson of JDA Software is the last of the winners to be recognized by DemandGenReport. Simply put, Dyson creates remarkable content. For instance, she created a campaign which advertised the eBook, “Digital Supply Chain for Dummies.” It was downloaded more than 10,000 times. She argues that more businesses need to be risk-takers.
