Drift to Break Into Video Marketing With Newest Development

SUBTITLE GOES HERE

TLDR:

The conversational marketing platform, Drift, is looking to expand its offerings. As such, it plans to release a new platform—Drift Video. It enables users to record videos, get immediate notifications, engage prospects during a video, and keep users’ data secure. Drift has spent significant time developing Drift Video. And a generous portion of revenue comes directly and indirectly from video.

Drift is a platform that pioneered the concept of conversational marketing. By placing the tedious and mundane responsibilities marketing and sales don’t want to do on chatbots, those bots free up revenue teams’ time. After all, chatbots aren’t humans. They don’t need sleep. By virtue of that fact, this tech allows a business to be responsive at all times—24/7/365.

Now Drift is seeking to develop what they offer customers further by introducing a new capability to their platform. It’s called Drift Video. The controlling purpose of the plan is to make video marketing a lot more clear.

Specifically, the platform has the capacity to record and share videos while at the same time, being instantly notified when someone watches a video. What they can do then is drop them a line casually as customers watch said video. It provides a jumping-off point by acting as a central frame of reference.

Prospects can do all of the above-named activities all while being in charge of their precious data. The topic of which has been a hotly-debated issue of oversight.

The founder of Drift happens to also be its CEO, David Cancel. He told DemandGenReport that Drift recognizes a trend when it sees one. That trend is video marketing. In response to this trend, Drift has invested a significant amount of time in the development of Drift Video—up to a year.

For example, last year, Drift witnessed half of all of their sales being either indirectly or directly impacted by video marketing. Drift know how valuable (and profitable) video is to their bottom line. Further seeking to innovate, the team at Drift is very excited to show the world what happens to video marketing if chat technology is infused into it.

And it’s not just because Drift wants to bring chat to video, Drift is also witnessing gains from their customers.
